How does the SKIN FX Derma Roller System work..
The SKIN FX Derma Roller consists of a handle and a cylinder, similar to a small paint roller. The surface of the cylinder contains 192 very fine needles and the rolling of this cylinder on the skin creates micro-channels through which your skincare products gain access to the deeper skin layers. While the fine needles are pushing aside the epidermal cells and creating the micro-channels the barrel of the roller is helping to 'push' peptide serums deeper into the skin. The skin remains 'open' for up to an hour after treatment and during this time essential formulations such as RAVIR Medics' Bio-Amino Anti-Line Concentrate, Alpha Arbutin Serum, topical Vitamin C and Vitamin A and Phyto-Moisture Complex are applied.
At the same time your skin is tricked into activating a healing process, the end result being the formation of new collagen and elastin. The advantages of Derma Rolling are that there is complete preservation of the epidermis during the procedure - the results may mimic results obtained with a laser, however they are achieved without damaging the epidermis.

How long does it take to see results..
It is not correct that the more frequently you roll the better results you obtain. The skin has to be regenerated after each roll and newly forming collagen has to be allowed to grow. After that, with every passing month, as you keep rolling, the results will continue to improve.
You should expect around 10% improvement each time you undergo a professional rolling and this is cumulative. This means that after 7 professional rolling session (with 4-6 weeks between) the skin will look twice as good as it did before. After approximately 10 months you will have really noticeable results (as if the skin is half as 'bad' as when you started). This progress will continue as long as you keep rolling every 5-6 weeks. What is the SKIN FX Derma Stamp..
The SKIN FX Derma Stamp is a newly developed cosmetic device with the face the size of a small postage stamp (2cm x 2.7cm). It differs to the Derma Roller in that you stamp in one place on an isolated scar or small area of acne pits, scars, burns etc. The scar is stamped approximately 20 times and the procedure is repeated again after 4-6 weeks, possibly a third time 4-6 weeks after that, however generally two treatments are sufficient.
The SKIN FX Derma Stamp breaks down the old collagen fibres and this allows new collagen to grow and fill in the scar. This is a safe procedure that works from the inside out, stimulating collagen growth, tightening and rejuvenating the skin.
